Store the jewelry in a dry place, protected from the sun and heat. It is best if the jewelry is allowed to breathe in its own space, e.g. in a tight box.
Avoid contact with other jewelry. Remove jewelry before swimming or washing. Jewelry should not be exposed to chemicals, such as hairspray or perfume, so don't put the jewelry on until last.
Clean the dirty jewelry with a lightly moistened soft cloth. If necessary, you can polish the metal parts with a metal cleaner or cloth.
